Presentation: “Legal and Ethical Issues in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy” This presentation provided an overview of legal and ethical issues for therapists and their clients in Canada. While psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy has shown efficacy in clinical trials for numerous indications and substances, this type of psychotherapy currently remains illegal.
